Itinerary - Short Escape to Gir

Day 1 - Ahmedabad - Junagadh - Gir National Park

You have two options for getting to Gir National Park: you can directly drive to Gir from Ahmedabad which takes around 8-9 hours to reach; or you arrive at Junagadh from Ahmedabad and then you move to the Gir Birding Lodge. In the morning you go for nature walks along with a guide, followed by Safari for wildlife sights, bird watching and the famous lion tracking. Return in the evening, and begin your pleasurable stay in the comfort of the lodge.

Day 2 - Gir National Park

After Breakfast, your day is booked for the Safari. Stimulate yourself within the jungles of the park and track down Lions, leopards and look out for other wild animals and birds. You spend an extensive time in Safari and later in the evening you come back to the lodge for a warm dinner and to retire for the day.

Day 3 - Gir National Park - Junagadh - Ahmedabad

You wake up for an early morning Safari for the viewing of the wild animals has higher chances at this time. Proceed to visit the crocodile farm and Devaliya after lunch. If you are directly going to Ahmedabad, then you start your journey back there. If you are taking the train, then head out for Junagadh a bit later. Your short trip ends on a happy note.
